Tucked away on the edge of the Peak District lies an elegant stone cottage holding an elevated position providing far reaching views overlooking the Cheshire Plain. The cottage dates back to the early 1700's and originally constructed for the local quarry workers. Higher Lane enjoys a peaceful leafy setting within the popular village of Kerridge located on the western foothills of the Pennines. Internally the cottage provides generous and evenly balanced accommodation throughout along with an abundance of character one would expect with the age and style of property. Some of the features of note include; exposed stone walls, stone flagged floors, traditional windows and doors. The property has a generous sized tiered garden to the rear incorporating a timber framed summer house, terraced seating areas with mature shrubs, plants and a lovely terraced seating area to the front which overlooks open fields. The property is being offered with no vendor chain and it is a rare find. The property should be viewed internally to fully appreciate. Please call Harvey Scott on 01625 576222
